Some of Richard Corben's later works could make your head tilt. This "adaptation" to Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven" includes a Crypt Keeper-esque narrator called Mag the Hag, who narrates over the poem's original narrator! From Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven and the Red Death from Dark Horse Comics.
