Theme: Malcontent Poems
Accepting poems that rage against the machine…the war machine, racism machine, sexism machine, homophobia/transphobia machine, and the monstrous combination of all these oppressive forces. We want pieces that capture the spirit of rebellion, resistance, and protest, taking a stand against the evil empire of war, corruption, discrimination, and inequality.
We’re looking for: Anti-establishment, anti-oppression, anti-hate poetry.
Pieces that express anger, sadness, or defiance about the government.
Works that inspire hope, organization, and a better future.
Note: No endorsements of mainstream politicians or parties. Satire and critique are welcome…bring that smoke.
