I had nothing appropriate I could have said when the Boston Poetry Marathon ended yesterday, so I saved this part when no one was around. Despite the choice of song, I did not do it alone. The Boston Poetry Marathon is a team effort with many people moving the moving parts. I couldn't have done it without Christina Liu and Christina Strong along with co-hosts Tom Daley and Timothy Gager (who provided vital audience assistance during Carol Weston's remote spot). And of course John Mulrooney brought it all home leading the tribute to Fanny Howe. And of course, there was everyone who attended. Many put their own marathon in attending both days! You made it all happen, and I hope we can all do it again.
