Stone Soup Croutons, 1-21-26: Targeted Poets

Stone Soup Croutons is a weekly poem I write using lines and impressions selected from Stone Soup Poetry's open mic readers and features. I figure out a title (and sometimes the rest of the poem) later. You can read the other ones I've done since 2015 here.

I also have a book collecting the best of my first year of poems. Click here to purchase it.

I have more work to do before I can sign out from this dumpster fire week.

Thanks for reading.

There is still some
kindness so long as
white children exist.

The year caught fire
from December, it's
dumpster never doused.

Nobody cares if you
don't remember how
everything burned.

Hookups  are leaked
while edicts are made
to kill more poetry.

it's not in his name.
