Another in my "New 52 Pick Up" series. Neither this series nor this particular review has aged very well. It shows how much I was grasping at straws for positives in this New 52 lineup. Even work like Grant Morrison's Action Comics
run seems a little stale in retrospect. "At least it isn't Firestorm
" seems to be my overlying thought process with this piece. At least this review nipped that whole nineties nostalgia in the bud, right? Right??? Originally published March 9, 2012, one day after I reviewed Firestorm.
