If you can, find a World War Two veteran and ask them how they feel about risking their life only to see a Nazi salute in 2025 America.

For Memorial Day
I'd rather focus on those people who never agreed to be part of any army and were killed anyway.

Happy Memorial Day
Because right now, it’s much simpler to honor the fallen than think about the survivors who have further to fall.

Have a Safe Long Memorial Day Weekend
A message for my fellow Bostonians and New Englanders: Please refrain from going to the death beaches. Seriously.
I know Mother Nature has turned up the heat, but please don't turn up the stupid along with it.

Happy Memorial Day
This is a key chain given to me by one of the any people I've met at work. It's made with an actual bullet.
I keep it because I respect the person's work too much to just throw it away. I also don't feel comfortable passing it on to anyone.
I don't know why they made this. Is it a way to remind the owner of other people's time in the armed forces? Or were they trying to find something better to do with the weapons?
I never had the opportunity to ask.

Memorial Day 2018
This toy soldier was given to me by one of the hundreds of people I see at my job. It was over a year ago, and he had plenty of these to go around. At least a few of my co-workers got one over the months we saw him.
It's been awhile since he was in. I still keep this in my bag, though I'm not sure why.
