Took this picture of the Dudley Cafe back in March on a nice day. Forgot to post it. 

Rough Commute

 

 

I used to enjoy commuting via Nubian Square. On a cold day like this, however, it's less appealing. 

 

The buses come less frequently than before, and the Dudley Cafe isn't even open before eight o'clock.

Boston has become a little crueler since the pandemic. Still, we make it work.

My poem is short this week because my fuse is short this week. I'm hopefully(???) taking my second dose of COVID-19 vaccine today. I don't have patience for much, least of all my own writer's block. Loved the open mic and the energy. Have to do it again soon. Thanks for reading.
