Dear Friend,
After our summer hiatus, POETRY:The Art of Words will once again be presenting our regular monthly poetry program at the Plymouth Public Library on Sunday September 9 beginning at 1PM. [we will enter with the public at 12:30PM]. Our feature poets for the month will be local poet and mystery author Judith Campbell and David Di Sarro an associate professor of English and administrator at Endicott College. After we hear the poetry of our features we will break for some talk and refreshments, our Open-Mic will close our formal program. Hope to see you on September 9.

Plymouth resident, Judith Campbell is an ordained minister, the author of the Olympia Brown Mysteries, and several collections of poetry. She is a mother and a grandmother and a great aunt. She leads writing workshops locally, nationally, and annually in the UK. Her work is available locally at the library, at windemere books, and Yankee book and art shop, and on Amazon, Kindle and on audible. Judith is an engaging and thought provoking speaker. Her carefully crafted work will both entertain and challenge the listener.
David R. DiSarro is currently an Associate Professor of English and administrator at Endicott College in Beverly, MA. His work has previously appeared in Conclave, The Wilderness House Literary Review, The Hawaii Pacific Review, Shot Glass Poetry Journal, Ibbetson Street, The Orange Room Review, Breadcrumb Scabs, Third Wednesday, among others. David was featured on SCATV's Poet to Poet / Writer to Writer television series, and his first published chapbook, I Used to Play in Bands, is available from Finishing Line Press. He currently lives on the North Shore of Massachusetts with his wife, Beth, four children, and two rambunctious dogs.
