Found this photo-op on Wednesday night coming back from Lowell. Wrote the poem during lunch on Sunday.
Game Off
Houses always
fall at feet.
Game called on count
of game called out.
The game is stacked.
The game is rigged.
The game was once
free to play.
t/he came we could
once afford to play.
the more we lose
the more rules stay same.
We walk away, forfeit
what was never wanted.
Tables are turned
tables are thrown over.
All hands get shown.
No one stood a chance.
