Good Bloom

I think this is the longest our hydrangea have lasted in one summer without wilting. Thankful for the rain we've had.

The Bush is Back

Our blueberries are back for another year. Nowhere near ripeness yet, but growing.

Mostly Blues

It took some rain, but most of the hydrangea have gotten their blue and violet mix.

Red Burst

When I visit my Mom for July Fourth, we go watch the fireworks because they are literally walking distance from my childhood house. Normally, nearly all of my fireworks photos are subpar because I don't want to stand up and block people's views. Luckily, it started raining by the time the show started, so the field wasn't as packed.  I took a few photos like this one that I'm happy with.

Here Comes the Color

Our hydrangea is taking a little longer, but the blue is finally coming out. Let's see how long they last past the end of June.

Neighborhood Bloom

Took some pictures of some flowers down while crazily walking around outside. Reminds me I should have started watering the plants a while ago.

Next Bloom

Since the surprise blueberry sprout last summer, every time I see a fresh bloom outside our home, I ask myself if it was here last year.

Giveth and Taketh

These flowers don't last very long, gone before summer even officially starts. They likely only survived last week's ninety degree day because of the culminating thunderstorm. With no real rain this week, the wilting finally came.
