I had a bunch of ideas that I thought was going to make it in this week's From Picture to Page poem. Turns out I didn't use any of them.
My instinct is to use them for some separate pieces that won't just be posted here .
Given how much I poured myself into National Poetry Writing Month, this is probably a natural reaction. It does mean this week's poem was a little staler (though I liked the picture).
Hopefully, this only means that I have to tighten my mask, walk someplace different for my exercise, and take pictures of something I haven't seen a hundred times.
