Why do poets continue to work with a publisher who clearly doesn't display any respect for the work he publishes, doesn't want to learn how to do better work and doesn't even want to trust anyone else to help him grow?
Because he's a "name," I guess. Because there are some people out there who consider you "unpublished" in the "scene" unless you show up in his projects.
Because people are afraid they'll be left out once this person's so-called legacy is ever brought up.
That's why I'm probably submitting to his latest project, at any rate.
