From Picture to Page: Give In

Wasn't quite a nature walk, but I did walk through (past?) nature, enough to get a photo of something else other than street scenes from my commuter route.

Give In

Just jump

find deepest part,

settle feet

on smooth bottom,

let ice close in

for winter rest

prepare to fail

last loyalty test.

Don't become 

exile with benefits.

They say begone

be gone

while heaven

freezes for once.

Let them break

into your cell,

door locked

from inside. 

Force them

to let you know

what it is

they really want.
