Marking the Day

I published my poem, "Riot Acts," six days after the riots, thanks to Michael Broder and Indolent Books. It was part of his Transition: Poems in the Afterglow series. It was meant to be more optimistic than the previous What Rough Beast era that ended after the 2020 election. Events like January 6 (and pieces like mine) are likely why the Transition series didn't last.
