Bell's Market in South Boston was a staple in my life for years. They temporarily closed in March.
While visiting South Boston for the Saint Patrick's Day parade, I took a photo of Bell's and their ominous sign outside: "Thank you, South Boston! We'll see you soon!"
A big construction project is going to happen soon. Bell's and so much more will be gone and replaced by something...bigger, I guess. Bell's 2.0?
Given how much ongoing gentrification there is in South Boston, I don't think I'm going to like the new Bell's very much.
