Mark Bohrer is our feature at Speakup this Wed 12/14/2022, live and in person on site at the Walnut Street Coffee Cafe, 157 Walnut St., Lynn MA.

Mark Bohrer is the current Poet Laureate of North Andover. He has published 6 books, all available on Amazon.com, including the collection Almost Whole – New and Selected Poems, and 5 chapbooks including That Restaurant Near The Parthenon, poems about ancient and modern Greece, and A Good Inland Town, poems about North Andover and New England.

He shares poetry on Facebook on North Andover Poets Corner and hosts a monthly open mic in North Andover. 

Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, he moved to New England in 1982, and has lived in North Andover since 1997. An engineer by schooling and trade – he has designed software to track satellites – he now works as an engineering project manager. Mark is married to Debbie Bohrer, who also writes poetry. He has two college age kids, is the co-chair of the green team at South Church Andover, and is an active environmentalist.

Speakup will also be carried on Zoom.
Masks are no longer required per Lynn MA Health Dept.
The Walnut St. Coffee Cafe is Handicap accessible.
No vaccination certs will be checked, please be responsible.
