"Concealed Weapons" is the only song I've ever heard from the J. Geils Band's final album You're Gettin' Even While I'm Gettin' Odd. Singer Peter Wolf left the group before this album was made, and some might say he had very good timing. For the full experience of this song, you have to watch the video. This played on MTV. It might have even played on the few regular TV channels that played videos from time to time. I could say it's vintage eighties, but it almost becomes timeless in its cheesiness.
