This week I'm focusing on instrumental songs that were popular hits on the radio. You don't hear them at all on the radio in my area these days, but believe me, you couldn't get escape them when they first came out. "A Fifth of Beethoven" was big even before it was included in the movie soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever.
