The Schedule
Our schedule will be similar to 2023, going from 11:00 in the morning of Saturday, August 16, to at least 10:00 in the evening. We will then gather for Sunday at 11:00 in the morning and finishing at 5:00 in the afternoon.
RSVP
Please RSVP to us at your earliest convenience. Email the Boston Poetry Marathon (thebostonpoetrymarathon@gmail.com) at your earliest convenience the days and times you would be able to perform. With possible exceptions given to proposed special panel tribute segments, each poet has seven minutes to read their poetry. Please give us at least two alternate times to help us accommodate everyone.
Volunteers
Please also let us know if you are interested in volunteering for the Boston Poetry Marathon during the weekend. Possible volunteer duties include assistance with
- hosting
- providing snacks and water
- tech support, which can include anything from helping provide photography and video clips for social media or assistance with livestreaming.
GoFundMe
In the next couple of days, we will be launching a GoFundMe page. While we do have money saved from 2023 to cover this year's rental costs, we would like to cover any additional costs and start fundraising for 2026.
Thank you
Now more than ever, you are responsible for making this event happen. Let us make this year's Boston Poetry Marathon unforgettable.
