My Summer's End Poem for 2026

Summer Love

Summer's
always known
you hate it.

Summer
does not
want your love.

Summer
only wants
you to dance.

Ceremony,
not sincerity,
is the key.

Keep
moving till
you fall over.

Tap
finger on
a hospital table.

Die
half-burried
in some sand.

Wait
for autumn
to be mourned.
