Bob Johnson's tribute to Bill Barnum

From the Bill Barnum memorial on August 30, 2019 at the First Parish in Brookline, Massachusetts. Bob was Bill's caretaker for nearly a decade and was present for most of Bill's appearances at open mic venues. The video for this eulogy was damaged while being transferred. Luckily the audio was salvaged and accompanies these photos of Bill during the last years of his life, always in the audience, always performing.

News was shared that on Sunday, July 21, we lost William J. Barnum, better known to poets as simply Bill Barnum. As a descendant of the PT Barnum legacy, he was a clown, a mime, a ballet dancer, an actor, a poet and possibly many other things well before he made Boston his home.
