RIP Charles Coe

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Charles Coe. A multiple-time Stone Soup feature, he was a towering presence whether it was featuring for me, the Boston Celebrates National Poetry Month Marathon, the Cambridge Poetry MashUp and so many other events and venues. Always generous with his time and work. A giving soul with seeming endless more to give on the horizon. My condolences to his family and the poetry community.

Stone Soup Croutons, 7-31-24: Under a Dyed Blue Moon

Stone Soup Croutons is a weekly poem I write using lines and impressions selected from Stone Soup Poetry's open mic readers and features. I figure out a title (and sometimes the rest of the poem) later. You can read the other ones I've done since 2015 here.

I also have a book collecting the best of my first year of poems. Click here to purchase it.

A lot of blue imagery came out of the reading. I think it helped this poem come out a little more positive. Coe's words certainly helped as well.

Thanks for reading.
