Just Missed It

We missed our connecting flight on Sunday. We planned to sneak into the Melania movie if we had gotten in earlier, but by the next day, not even off season Florida would keep showing the film. #america #2026

The Axes Are Out

"And it doesn't matter how many Pier 1 import wall decos he puts in the White House or how many historical buildings he funnels taxpayer money to destroy and makeover in his image. The aesthetic legacy of Trump and those surrounding him will always be one of slovenly indignity. Ill-fitting suits, visible diapers, bad makeup, cheap tans, and gold painted pablum made in China. But they desperately want to be liked, adored for their style and grace, despite sacrificing any they may have once had. Yet, because these people have no real understanding of art, Trump has been engaged in several efforts to reimagine a conservative aesthetic landscape that will acquiesce to his tackiness."

From the opening of Dead Domain's review of Melania.

Leopards Eating Faces Update!

Melania should win the Eaten Face award just based on the fact that they are calling Marjorie Taylor Greene's split with Trump a "divorce."

Poor Melania. For all her loyalty to Trump out of self-interest, she will always be the side piece.

American Haiku: Re-Re-Tell-All

When I started my Sarcastic Haiku series, I wrote my first American Haiku. An American Haiku doesn't care about tradition, formality or history and takes as long as it wants to complete because America. You can read others I've written since by clicking here and scrolling down.

Familiar Faces Visit Us This Holiday Week

We have a lot of old friends stopping by today, but be sure to come back tomorrow for some new voices to help finish up The Christmas Wars.

For now, say hello once more to our newest old friend John Stickney at Oddball Magazine, and let's keep things going.

Ha-ha! Biden wears a mask!

Annoying Thoughts: Wow

Looks like my last T.G.I.F. post could have said "Trump Get Infected Forever!"

Except I don't really want anyone to get COVID-19.

I don't want that kind of karma coming back to me. Especially the day after I was told that I need to get my flu shot soon, if not today.

I don't even want to feel schadenfreude over this. Especially if this potentially means that Joe Biden might now have COVID-19.

Even if this could be proven to be retribution from God, Trump could probably turn that to his advantage now.

I'll just say at this moment in time, Donald and Melania truly deserve each other.

Between the Headlines is Back

"Trump’s Week of Veils and Shades" is my latest found poem on current events. I had a lot of fun working on this. As much fun as you can have working with depressing news. Read it now on Medium.
