Nevermind the Water Lillies

With such an amazing backdrop as Claude Monet's water lillies paintings, it made total sense to recreate the cover from Nirvana's Nevermind.

My girlfriend would like you to know that she had nothing to do with this tomfoolery at Musee de l'Orangerie. She did not take the photo. She did not dangle the euro in front of the camera. 

 

My Monday Morning Music

Talked with my girlfriend yesterday about this specific live MTV appearance by Nirvana performing this specific song. It was its own music video segment for a while. Blew my mind when I first saw it. Wasn't even sure I liked it. Knew I'd never forget it.
