Blessed Leg Room

So much happier now that both summer and the orange line shutdown is over. The 39 bus if freed up, and I can breathe on the train again. With everything that happened this year, you'd have to be crazy to be upset that fall is here.

Blessed Leg Room

So thankful it's the end of both summer and the orange line shutdown. With everything that happened this year, how can you feel angry that summer is over without have some kind of mental disorder?

Security for a Dead Line

In the days, months and years leading up to the Orange Line shutdown, you would be lucky to find one member of the MBTA police (like I did once to help a woman who was being shouted by a man following her down to the train). Today, there might be over twenty police and security wandering in and outside of the mostly empty building as civilians run to and from the busses.

New MBTA Poem

“Orange Line Shutdown, Day One" was written in response to the recent problems with Boston's public transportation. I'm grateful to James Penha for publishing it today in The New Verse News.

Your Weekly Dose of God

I'm starting to see more pamphlets in Forest Hills. I suspect there will only be more before the year's end. God is being turned up to eleven this year.

From Picture to Page: Don't Look

For the first time ever, I wrote today's poem on a Saturday to give myself more time to prepare for the week ahead. Don't know if it's going to help the final product, but I was tired of typos from last minute posting. No doubt influenced from a whole weekend of scanning and cataloguing over twenty years of papers.
