My Best Poet Moments of 2022: My Open Mic Spot in Paris

I've already written about this ad nauseam. It was my summer highlight, and now it's my 2022 highlight.

Just a stranger in another country's open mic. I did what I had to do.

It felt awesome.

Maybe someday I can read at Culture Rapide as a feature. That would be amazing.

I'm surprised I haven't added "read in Paris" to my bio yet.

Best Summer Memories

Some of my best photos I took this year were taken in Paris, where I visited for a week with my girlfriend and her daughter. I've already highlighted one recently for Oddball Magazine. I hope to do so with more in the future.

Still Life After Breakfast, Outside Château de Versailles Edition

Looks more America than I remembered.

Also, I became a Orangina fan.

My Last Fountain Pictures

Tried to have some fun at the Château de Versailles with my older camera.

My Last Eiffel Tower Shot

Took this with my older digital camera after my iPhone and iPad were running out of power.

Annoying Thought of the Day

An American poet in Paris can be the most unpoetic thing in Paris.

Ce n'est pas...

Been wanting to do this since I first saw this golden gate of Château de Versailles.

Bonjour monsieu.
"Does Antoinette's head come off?"
Au revoir monsieu.

Home from Paris

I'll be updating all day if I can. For a full set of all my pictures and video, visit my Instagram page, which has gathered a large amount of followers over the past week. Knowing me, I'll lose them all once I go back to posting pictures of poets and random street stuff.

In Paris

It's two in the morning here in Paris. I'm in a Holiday Inn, but it was playing Amy Winehouse when we checked in!

I'll be updating when I can. In truth, you might have more luck checking out my Facebook and Instagram pages first.

Poems? Maybe.
