My Friday Evening Music

Wouldn't you think there'd be more Reg E. Gaines out there? Next year, I might have to upload some material on YouTube. Here's the last one for the week.

My Friday Morning Music

This counts as music. Reg E. Gaines with tap kid Savion Glover.

My Monday Morning Music

I still have the CD from Reg E Gaines this track appears on. His stuff is hard to find online, but I think I have a selection ready.

In Search of a Deep Cut

Amanda Gorman isn't the first inaugural poet to be under scrutiny. I remember when Reg E. Gaines wrote a response to Maya Angelou's inaugural poem for Bill Clinton. He asked what was the big deal with her "becoming the second coming of rhythmless Robert Frosty the Snowman."

Wish I could find that poem online. Otherwise, I'll have to wait because t's in a CD buried in a box in my mom's garage.
