After our last dinner last Wednesday in Florida, my girlfriend found a  heron by the dock. I can't remember ever seeing this one before, but it looked a little pissed. I'm surprised it didn't try to jump me after I took this picture.

Last Friday I went to work after coming home from vacation. I went from hanging out in Florida to walking home as the new storm was starting. If I had to do that tonight, it might have broken me. Turns out the next snowfall is Sunday. Yay?
