Don't Miss The Zig Zag Poetry Open Mic

Over this past year, I have noticed a kind of renaissance occuring in poetry.  It seems to be taking place in the North Shore area quite a bit now.  Lately, it has popped most prominently with the Zig Zag Poetry Open Mic, held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at the In A Pig's Eye in Salem.  Host Clay Ventre and friends (a host of fine poets) have been gracing Stone Soup Poetry's open mic in recent months, which makes me grateful.  In gratitude for them gracing my venue with their young voices,  I hope to make it to the venue soon.  Perhaps even next Tuesday, via public transportation, as part of an extended Columbus Day weekend treat.  You should check out this happening.  Especially if you have an easier time getting there.
