This August: The Boston Poetry Marathon, 2013

There have been many names for this annual summer event organized and hosted by Jim Behrle and John Mulrooney.  Many names, indeed.  This year, it's back to being called The Boston Poetry Marathon, and back at Outpost 186 on the 16th, 17th and 18th of August  I go on around eight on Friday the 16th, and I read for just eight minutes.  That's because I'm only one of about a hundred poets scheduled to either read or present for over three days.  I'm proud to say I've been part of the show a few times over the years since it was held at the late Wordsworth Books.  I'm excited to be part of it this year.

Check out this year's page for more information.  Anyone who's a fan of poetry should get excited about this show and plan to be a the Outpost at least a day or two.
