A Moment of Comics

Researching the character of Bastion, who seems to be the main baddie from the "X-Men" '97 " cartoon. The worst thing you can do researching comics form the 90's is look up a character's first appearance. Bastion's first appearance/nonappearance comes X-Men #52, a hot 90's mess written by Mark Waid, penciled by Andy Kubert and inked by Cam Smith. Joe Casey was right. 90's X-Men were plagued by mysterious figures in shadows.

A page from Flashpoint by Geoff Johns. Pencils by Andy Kubert, inks by Sandra Hope and Jesse Delperdang (who I have to admit nicely spruce up Kubert's art which usually leaves me cold). I read this over again hoping to publish (or republish) some work based on this limited series. Might have been a bad idea. I finished it again, and now my head is hurting like Barry Allen's.
