A Moment of Comics

Researching the character of Bastion, who seems to be the main baddie from the "X-Men" '97 " cartoon. The worst thing you can do researching comics form the 90's is look up a character's first appearance. Bastion's first appearance/nonappearance comes X-Men #52, a hot 90's mess written by Mark Waid, penciled by Andy Kubert and inked by Cam Smith. Joe Casey was right. 90's X-Men were plagued by mysterious figures in shadows.

The Work I Do For Fun

I decided to write something funny about the X-Men Comics. It took longer than I thought, but every little thing I work on makes me a better writer. I'm glad I worked on it, though it isn't the timeliest of pieces. You can read it now on Medium.
