Outside of Café du Monde in New Orleans, we saw a lot of people dressed as pirates. There was some event going on at a club, so this made sense .But the one random gnome? Was he trying to put the "G" in "Gnew Orleans" maybe? I got nothing.

Also Seen in New Orleans
I wasn't able to figure out what "MARDI GRAS DUKY" means, but what little feedback I've seen online doesn't suggest it's a very clean message.

Oh Wow
I found an original Shepard Fairey "Andre the Giant Has a Posse" sticker in New Orleans! Again, Boston needs to step up it's graffiti game.

Poetry in New Orleans
In my travels, I have seen more than one street corner poet with typewriters cranking out poems for dollars. Last week I came across poet Random Cushing while exploring Bourbon Street and the French Quarter.
I commissioned a poem about New Orleans and interviewed him while he worked.

New Orleans Creep
This creepy Easter Bunny/Carrot display on a Bourbon Street balcony stuck with me. See what I do with this on my TikTok or the "Stories" part of my Facebook/Instagram.
New Orleans Gets Wet
Last Monday, we were in the middle of a flash flood alert. We were fine, but the water rose pretty high.
There's Always a Parade in New Orleans.
I don't know which parade this group was attached to, but they kept the spirit going whichever group they were either leaving or joining!

More NOLA Magic
Some choir sax from last Sunday's Easter service at Saint Augustine Catholic Church.
From New Orleans
The second most filmed fountain in New Orleans (according to our food tour guy): The beer fountain at The Bulldog.
Your Weekly Dose of God
Last Sunday we went to Easter mass at Saint Augustine Catholic Church. It was held in the Parish Hall due to Hurricane Ida damage. We came for the choir but stayed for the saxophone.
