A Moment of Comics

Two weeks ago I showed you the comics page I think of the most when I suffer overall burnout. below is the page I think of when I feel like I've reached my lowest point as a writer and creator.

"Caricature" by Daniel Clowes, first published in Eightball #15 by Fantagraphics, was a revelation to me as a young writer, even though I hadn't even put a minute fraction of the hours I've put in as a writer since. I suspect the last page sums up most artists' feelings following unwanted introspection. This darkness has enveloped me more than once in my life.

"That's one thing about art: No matter how ashamed you are of what you've done, there's always tomorrow." What a sentence.
